Action for children
We work to help vulnerable young people realise their potential and make a successful transition to adulthood. Some of the young people we work with have mental health, drug or alcohol problems.
MAMMA
Mothers Against Murder And Aggression is a national registered charity who have supported and advocated for victims of violent crime and their families since 1993. MAMAA work directly with the Home Office, offering advice on victims needs, and develop and promote strategies that work towards reducing the unacceptable level of violent crime we see in our country.
The hilldrop centre
Community centre offering adult learning, parenting support including stay and play, toy library, music and arts classes, yoga in pregnancy, employment advice. An after-school club and holiday playscheme is also run by the Hilldrop Community Association at this venue. See separate entry for after-school club.
